We welcome all new and returning athletes and families to the 2023-2024 season and hope you are as excited as we are to get things going! We have a season of events planned and ready for all ages, and we can’t wait for everyone to compete!
With our club head coach Vladimir Ushakov at the helm, our coaching staff is eager to meet you all and work with you to improve and become the best you can be! We offer programs for all ages, and would love to help you find the right group to succeed and grow!
For the 2023-2024 season, the program age groups are as follows:
SWP Training Programs:
- Learn to Swim - Athletes born in 2013 and later
- Intro Program - Athletes born between 2011 and 2014
- Development Program - Athletes born between 2010 and 2014
- Competitive Program - Athletes born between 2006 and 2012
- Masters/Senior League Training - Athletes born in 2006 and earlier
* NOTE: These age groups are flexible. Should there be athletes outside the recommended age range above who would benefit from being in a program our coaches will address these situations on a case-by-case basis. If you are looking to register for a program outside your identified age range above, please contact generalmanager@surreywaterpolo.com.
Free Trial with Surrey Water Polo / Invite Your Friends to SWP!
We are always looking for new athletes to join our team! Water polo is an amazing sport and we know you will love it if you give it a try. We encourage anyone interested in the Surrey Water Polo Club to contact our GM to arrange for a one-week free trial (generalmanager@surreywaterpolo.com). While we encourage athletes to participate in this free trial at the start of the season, we understand that this may not always be possible in every situation and welcome new athletes to come for a free trial at any time throughout the season.
